Shawn Huff's remarkable and distinguished career in modeling and acting commenced at the tender age of 15, when she was unexpectedly and serendipitously 'discovered' by a renowned modeling agent from France while attending high school in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
After a stint with Fashion Models in Milan, Shawn went on to spend the next two years honing her craft in Italy, where she had the opportunity to work on various projects and develop her skills as a model.
As she approached the age of 18, Shawn made the decision to return to the United States, where she joined Ford Models in New York. Over the course of the next three years, she had the privilege of working with some of the most prestigious magazines in the industry, including Vogue, Mademoiselle, Seventeen, and Bazaar.
When the opportunity to sign with Nina Blanchard Models in Los Angeles arose, Shawn seized it with both hands, recognizing the potential for growth and new experiences that it presented.
As Shawn settled into her new life in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, the allure of the spotlight began to shift her focus away from the world of modeling. The promise of a career in acting, with its vast array of creative possibilities and opportunities for growth, proved too enticing to resist.
Shawn's journey to landing her first acting role was a long and arduous one, with a whopping 132 interviews taking place before she finally secured her big break.
This perseverance paid off, as Shawn landed a role in the television series "The Secrets of Lake Success" in 1993, a show created by the same team behind the popular drama "Dynasty" which premiered in 1981.
Following her success in "The Secrets of Lake Success", Shawn went on to star in other notable television series, including the ABC drama "McKenna", which she filmed for six months in Oregon.
Shawn's work on "McKenna" caught the attention of ABC, who subsequently offered her a development deal with the network.
In addition to her television work, Shawn has also appeared in a wide range of films, including "We the People" in 1994, "The Bad Pack" in 1997, "Absence of the Good" in 1999, and "100 Mile Rule" in 2002.
A plethora of accomplishments and personal milestones have been accomplished by the talented Shawn, whose career trajectory has been marked by a seamless transition from acting to modeling, with her most recent endeavors showcasing her remarkable versatility and skill. As a devoted mother, she takes immense pride in the upbringing of her daughter, Bailey Huff, whose own talents and abilities are undoubtedly being nurtured and encouraged by her mother's unwavering support. Moreover, Shawn's personal life has been filled with joy and fulfillment, as she is blissfully married to Brent Huff, a fellow actor and film director, with whom she shares a deep emotional connection and a strong sense of partnership.
