Born and raised in the bustling metropolis of Ismailia, a celebrated Egyptian screenwriter embarked upon a transformative odyssey of self-exploration, initially venturing into the realm of commerce by enrolling in the Faculty of Commerce, only to later redirect her trajectory towards the world of fine arts, where she immersed herself in the multifaceted disciplines of jewelry design, creative writing, and scriptwriting in the vibrant city of Cairo.
As she embarked on a journey of intellectual exploration, she subsequently transitioned into the realm of jewelry design, devoting a considerable four-year period to meticulously crafting intricate and exquisite pieces in both silver and gold, thereby refining her technical expertise and cultivating a discerning eye for minute details.
Despite the initial cancellation of her early screenwriting endeavour, a collaborative effort with her brother, acclaimed director and writer Mohamed Diab, which centred around a fictional uprising set against the storied backdrop of Egypt's ancient heritage, this seemingly insurmountable obstacle proved to be a mere stepping stone towards the remarkable achievements that would soon follow in her illustrious career.
Notably, her impressive body of work encompasses a wide range of critically acclaimed productions, including the two-season series The Devil's Steps, which garnered widespread critical acclaim, as well as the thought-provoking film The Island 2, a cinematic masterpiece that has further solidified her position as a prominent figure in the Egyptian film industry, showcasing her exceptional talent and versatility as a creative force.
