Siddharth is a multi-talented individual who has made a name for himself in the world of entertainment, exceling as an actor, playback singer, and screenplay writer.
Born with a passion for cricket, Siddharth has had the opportunity to combine his love for the sport with his creative pursuits, having experience in cricket commentary and writing.
After completing his MBA from Mumbai, Siddharth began his journey in the film industry, landing the role of assistant director for Mani Ratnam's "Kannathil Muthamittal" and later making his debut in "Boys" in 2004.
Siddharth's breakthrough role came with Mani Ratnam's "Aayutha Ezhuthu" in 2004, which was dubbed into Telugu as "Yuva," and he also worked with Prabhu Deva in the film "Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana," earning his first Filmfare Best Actor award.
In 2005, Siddharth ventured into writing and singing, penning the screenplay for his Telugu film "Chukkallo Chandrudu" and singing as a playback singer.
Siddharth made his Bollywood debut in the critically acclaimed and commercially successful "Rang De Basanti," alongside Aamir Khan and Kunal Kapoor, and received the Star Screen Debut Award for his role as Karan Singhania.
He has also collaborated with director Vishal Bhardwaj and Oscar-winning cinematographer Guillermo Navarro on a short film titled "Blood Brothers," which screened at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Siddharth's second Bollywood movie, "Striker," portrayed the life of a carrom player and became the first Bollywood film to release on YouTube and in theaters on the same day.
His latest release was "Anaganaga O Dheerudu - Once Upon a Warrior," produced by Walt Disney, co-starring Shruti Hassan.
Siddharth has also lent his voice to the hit singles "Appudo Ippudo" and "Oy!," which reached number one on the charts.
