Simone Policano is a multifaceted creative professional, excelling as an actor, writer, and producer. Her television credits include recurring guest star appearances on CBS's Blue Bloods, as well as notable roles on NBC's New Amsterdam. Her film work has been showcased at prestigious festivals such as the Tribeca Film Festival, Cinequest Film Festival, and Seattle Film Festival, among others. Currently, three of her features are streaming on Amazon Prime, including the sci-fi drama "Auggie" opposite Richard Kind and Susan Blackwell, the psychological thriller "This Is Our Home," in which she stars and produces, and the 1960s heartfelt family drama "Extra Innings." During the COVID-19 pandemic, Simone co-founded Invisible Hands, a nonprofit organization dedicated to delivering groceries and essential supplies to the elderly and immunocompromised. At the height of the pandemic in New York City, Invisible Hands amassed over 10,000 volunteers and received widespread recognition, being featured by prominent news outlets such as Fox and Friends, Andrea Mitchell Reports, Good Morning America, the Associated Press, the New Yorker, and the New York Times, among others. The organization was awarded recognition from esteemed institutions including the Robin Hood Foundation, Manhattan Institute, Points of Light, and Grant Thornton, and was also named among 2020's Top Philanthropists by Town and Country magazine alongside notable figures such as Oprah Winfrey, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and Governor Andrew Cuomo.
