Stacy's academic and professional journey began at the University of Southern California, where she was awarded a trumpet scholarship. During her time at USC, she actively participated in various musical ensembles, including the Orchestra, Wind Ensembles, and the Trojan Marching Band. Furthermore, she co-founded the renowned a cappella group, the SoCal VoCals, and held the positions of director and arranger.
As a sophomore, Stacy was selected for the prestigious USC Vocal Arts program, where she received intensive training in classical voice and musical theater. She graduated with a major in Music Education and went on to pursue a fulfilling career as a director of middle and high school instrumental music programs. Additionally, she worked as a producer and arranger on several a cappella albums that received CARA nominations.
Throughout her career, Stacy has received numerous accolades, including the ICCA "Best Arrangement" award six times. Her arrangement of the National Anthem has been performed at various high-profile events, including Clippers, Lakers, King, and USC Basketball home games, as well as the 2008 Democratic National Debate.
As a talented vocalist and trumpet player, Stacy has collaborated on productions at the Hollywood Bowl and Greek Theater, and has worked on studio projects with notable artists such as WAR, Gabriel Mann, James Snyder, and Ross Golan. She also lent her trumpet skills to the soundtrack of the video game, "The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night".
