Isaacs, a seasoned professional in the motion picture and television industry, has been actively involved since 1979, contributing his expertise as a writer, producer, and director for various esteemed companies, including Columbia Pictures, Rastar Films, Touchstone Pictures, Walt Disney, Paramount Pictures, NBC, The Kushner-Locke Company, Star Cinema Productions, Le Monde Entertainment, F.W.E., SyFy Pictures, MM Productions, and Amblin Entertainment.
In 2013, Isaacs conceived and produced the critically acclaimed documentary "Tough Ain't Enough: Conversations With Albert S. Ruddy", which garnered widespread recognition for its portrayal of the life and career of two-time Oscar-winning producer Albert S. Ruddy. The film's success led Isaacs to initiate The Film History Preservation Project and The Producers Showcase, a multi-part documentary series that showcases award-winning producers sharing intimate oral histories of their experiences bringing iconic and memorable motion pictures to the screen.
In 2016, Isaacs produced and directed a documentary about Academy Award-winning producer and former studio head, Alan Ladd, Jr., which premiered on TCM in 2017. The same year, he produced and directed a documentary on Mace Neufeld. In 2020, Isaacs was a creative consultant on the documentary "Napoli Eden", which qualified for Academy Award consideration. Additionally, in 2022, he served as supervisor of production, 2nd unit director, and creative consultant on the documentary "We Are Art". For his work on The Film History Preservation Project, Isaacs was recognized by being included in "Who's Who in America" for the 2021 and 2022 editions.
