Stephen Royal Phillips, a multifaceted individual with a rich background, was born in New Jersey and currently resides in the picturesque Florence/Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina.
As an accomplished actor, he has also had a distinguished career in the military, serving as a military police soldier in the U.S. Army National Guard, where he rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant and was a Veteran of Iraqi Freedom.
In addition to his acting and military endeavors, Phillips is a seasoned law enforcement professional, boasting over 18 years of experience as a police officer, detective, and sergeant.
A lifelong martial artist, he holds Black Belts in various styles, including Japanese Karate, the Superfoot Wallace Kickboxing System, Gracie Jiu-jitsu, and Okinawan Weapons. He has honed his skills through extensive training and competition in point fighting, jiu-jitsu tournaments, and cage fighting.
Beyond his passions for acting, martial arts, and law enforcement, Phillips is also an accomplished writer, stunt performer, and fight choreographer. He has even served as a police technical advisor for films, bringing his expertise to the silver screen.
Looking to expand his creative horizons, Phillips is set to make his directorial debut with the film short "The Game". A devoted family man, he is married with three children, and his dedication to his loved ones is a testament to his strong sense of commitment and responsibility.
