Steve Whelan, an accomplished American actor, producer, and sound artist, has had a remarkable career spanning multiple formats. Born and raised in Northeast Ohio and Connecticut, he pursued his passion for theatre, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University.
As a professional actor, Steve started his journey in Philadelphia before making the move to Los Angeles in 1996. His extensive experience includes film, television, commercials, web-series, and voice-overs, solidifying his versatility as a performer.
In addition to his acting career, Steve is an accomplished production sound artist and veteran voice-over artist. He co-founded Relentless Filmworks in 2008, a boutique production company dedicated to creating original content.
Recently, Steve took on a dual role, line producing and acting in the highly acclaimed film Silent Thunder, starring Ted McGinley, directed by Isaac Mederios. He is represented by Lori Brevig at NBS Entertainment and managed by David Rosenblatt of Rosenblatt Management.
When not on set, Steve indulges in his passion for music, hosting a Grateful Dead radio show called Primal Dead every Sunday night on KPFK 90.7FM Los Angeles.
