His academic endeavors eventually took him to the prestigious UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television, where he further honed his craft.
However, it was his breakout role in the 2019 Off-Broadway production of "Slave Play" at the esteemed New York Theater Workshop that truly catapulted Sullivan to the forefront of the entertainment industry. Directed by the acclaimed Robert O'Hara and penned by Jeremy O. Harris, this groundbreaking production went on to transfer to Broadway, garnering a staggering 13 Tony Award nominations in the process.
