Sweta Keswani is a talented Indian actress, born and raised in Mumbai, India. She has made a name for herself in the Indian television industry, starring in numerous popular shows such as Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, and Ba Bahu aur Baby.
Sweta's acting career began at a young age, with her first role in a school play as Goldilocks in Goldilocks and the 3 Bears. She continued to act in various television shows throughout her childhood and teenage years, including Tara, Abhimaan, Aashirvaad, Trikaal, and Nazdeeikiyan.
As she grew older, Sweta's roles became more diverse and challenging. She played a double role in CID, a prosecuting lawyer in Adaalat, and appeared in several films, including Love in Nepal, Gas Station on The Express way, The Memsahib, and Bin Bulaye Baarati.
Sweta has also hosted several game, variety, and man-on-the-street shows on Indian television networks. She has also participated in celebrity specials, including a daredevil episode of Fear Factor India, where she made it to the final two contestants.
In addition to her acting career, Sweta is a trained classical Indian Kathak dancer and has performed live at various events, including the Indian Telly Awards. She has also been a part of the reality dance show Nach Baliye Season 3, where she made it to the top four finalists.
Sweta's passion for storytelling has led her to pursue various projects, including writing and producing a play called "Fragile" after the devastating Mumbai Floods in 2005. She has also collaborated with American producers on a docu-series called "Remarkable Women - Out of the Shadows," which aims to share inspiring stories of women who have lived courageously.
After moving to New York in 2010, Sweta continued to hone her craft by working with various acting schools and coaches. She is currently a board member of the Rivers Edge Theatre company in Westchester, NY, and has been a part of several of their productions since the pandemic.
