Tanner Beard is an accomplished film and television actor, as well as a talented writer and director, with numerous credits to his name. Born on September 16th, 1984, in Big Spring Hospital, Texas, Beard was named after his father, Ricky Neal Beard. His mother, Janice, is of Irish, Scottish, Norwegian, English, French, Cherokee, and Choctaw Indian descent.
Beard attended the New York Film Academy in Hollywood, California, shortly after finishing high school in his hometown of Snyder, Texas. This led to his first comedy television series, "Valley Peaks," which he produced, wrote, directed, and starred in for over two seasons.
As a director, Beard turned his Western short film, "Mouth of Caddo," into the feature film "Legend of Hell's Gate," which he also wrote, produced, and starred in alongside Kevin Alejandro, Summer Glau, Henry Thomas, and Glenn Morshower. His love of producing stories from the old west continued with the European Western "6 Bullets To Hell," shot on the same sets as famous Sergio Leoni and Clint Eastwood classics in Spain.
As an actor, Beard has had early roles in "The Letter," starring Winona Ryder and James Franco, as well as "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series" and SXSW darlings "Sylvio" and "Barracuda," starring Allison Tolman. He has also appeared in "We Summon The Darkness," alongside Johnny Knoxville, "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," "Blood Behind Us," and many more.
As a producer, Beard has quickly made a name for himself, working on films starring Aaron Paul, Juliette Lewis, Cate Blanchette, Brad Pitt, Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, Antonio Banderas, Ryan Gosling, Michael Fassbender, Val Kilmer, and many more. One of his favorite aspects of his job is working with his family in films, having completed over a dozen projects with his cousin Russell Quinn.
As CEO of Silver Sail Entertainment and an Emmy-nominated creator, Beard's future projects are highly anticipated, and he continues to impress audiences with his work on screen and off.
