This remarkable feat did not go unnoticed, as Brown was subsequently awarded a scholarship to the esteemed American Musical and Dramatic Academy in 2013. However, she opted to attend the University of Nevada, Reno, where she received the prestigious Grace-Semenza Drama Scholarship as a freshman.

During her tenure at the University of Nevada, Brown was fortunate enough to be handpicked to perform a piece from the lesser-known play "Double Falsehood", which is widely believed to be an unattributed work of the renowned William Shakespeare, at a highly anticipated and intellectually stimulating scholarly debate. This esteemed event brought together two prominent academics, Tiffany Stern from Oxford University and Brean Hammond from The University of Nottingham, for a discussion that was sure to be both enlightening and thought-provoking.

In addition to this academic highlight, Brown also had the unique opportunity to work closely with Adam Cates, a Tony Award-winning theatre professional, during the university production of "A Christmas Carol: The Musical".
