Tara-Nicole, a disabled American actress, achieved remarkable milestones at a young age. She graduated high school with honors at 14, and by 15, she had won five Telly Awards for her writing and directing. At 16, she had written and directed six short films, two web shows, and her work had been showcased at over 140 film festivals nationally and internationally.
By 18, her director/producer credits included seven short films and two web series. Her films have been displayed at iconic venues such as the Egyptian Theater and the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood, as well as on cable television, in schools, and in several countries.
Tara-Nicole's acting career began when she was just a little girl. She had a small part in a feature film at the age of four. As a child actress, she was known for her impressive quick memory and appeared in films, commercials, videos, and TV projects.
However, at 17, she faced significant health challenges when mystery issues she had experienced throughout her life became more pronounced. After extensive testing, she was diagnosed with Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Hashimoto's, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, ADHD, Autism, Scoliosis, Fibromyalgia, and additional conditions.
As an ambulatory wheelchair user, Tara-Nicole's disability is dynamic, changing in severity from day to day, moment to moment, or hour to hour. This has led her to become an outspoken advocate for disability rights, sharing her experiences and challenges as a disabled person and artist.
Born into a writing family, Tara-Nicole began writing children's books at a young age and has won the prestigious Young Author's contest three times. At 11, she wrote a screenplay, "My Name Is...Anna," which started her career as an independent filmmaker and has been used by eating disorder treatment centers.
At 14, she signed her first distribution deal for the film "Sybling Rivalry," a dark, horror comedy. Tara-Nicole is also a former All-Star cheerleader and a lifelong Girl Scout, having received the meritorious Silver Award, The Corlin National Community Service Award, and National Community Service awards from NAM & ACP.
In addition to acting and cosplaying, Tara-Nicole is an artist and created the brand "Magickal Stuff." In her free time, she enjoys amusement parks, dinosaurs, Greek mythology, and Japanese Anime.
