Teddy Chen, a remarkable individual, hails from the San Francisco Bay Area, where he seamlessly merged athleticism and intellectual pursuits, earning a Collegiate Baseball Scholarship and subsequently attending the esteemed Cornell University, an Ivy League institution.
As he navigated his academic journey, Teddy discovered a profound passion for acting, which ultimately led him to relocate to Los Angeles. He enrolled in Larry Moss's Masterclass, a prestigious acting program, and began to hone his craft. His talent and dedication soon landed him roles on stage and television, including appearances on popular shows such as HOUSE, THE EVENT, LAW AND ORDER: LA, FLASH FORWARD, and his current recurring role on GENERAL HOSPITAL.
Teddy's impressive acting resume is complemented by his work in independent filmmaking. He stars as the lead character, "Elliot," in the critically acclaimed Netflix feature film EAT WITH ME, alongside renowned actors George Takei and Nicole Sullivan of MADtv fame.
Beyond his work as an actor, Teddy has also ventured into writing and directing. His screenplay, THE BOXER, won the Grand Prize in CAPE's Digital Shorts Contest, securing for funding his directorial debut. He has since completed two Martial Arts films, showcasing his versatility as a writer, director, editor, and star. Notably, Teddy collaborated with a renowned Action Director to train and choreograph the film's Martial Arts scenes, further demonstrating his commitment to excellence in his craft.
