Tera Hendrickson, a multilingual American actor, has made a name for herself by utilizing foreign languages and dialects in her various roles. Her impressive repertoire includes playing a French witch twice, first in The Addams Family 2 (2021) and later in the hit TV series Charmed (1998). She has also portrayed an Italian priest in Netflix's Love & Gelato (2021),a Spanish singer in the Dora & The Lost City of Gold (2019) soundtrack, and has taken on roles in Portuguese for Days of Our Lives (1965) and Disney's wildly popular Mickey Mouse short 'O Futebol Classico' (2014).
Growing up, Tera discovered a deep passion for music, which led her to begin studying piano in her childhood. She later expanded her musical skills by learning bass, ukulele, accordion, and voice training. As her acting and musical pursuits continued to evolve, she found herself presented with a range of unique opportunities. One such opportunity arose when she was recruited by Academy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer to perform with his orchestra as the Edith Piaf vocalist for the Hollywood premiere of the blockbuster film Inception (2010).
Tera's musical talents also led her to earn her first film composition credit for Say It in Russian (2007) starring Faye Dunaway, where she wrote and performed the film's title track 'Embrasse Moi'. As the frontperson for the international jazz ensemble Les Zazous, she has had the privilege of performing in various prestigious venues across the country, including the Hollywood Bowl's Museum Stage, The Library of Congress, and The French Embassy in Washington DC.
