Terence Rosemore's biography is a remarkable tale of perseverance and success. Born in Great Falls, Montana, he was raised in the vibrant city of New Orleans, where he discovered his passion for acting. His early start in Ted Gilliam's Dashiki Theatre Company laid the foundation for a career that would span five decades.
As an award-winning filmmaker and actor, Rosemore has appeared in numerous feature films, including Triple 9, The Nice Guys, The Apostle, Candyman 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vols. 2 & 3. His impressive television credits include roles on Atlanta, True Detectives, American Horror Story, Scream Queens, Treme, Queen Sugar, Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Special, and Netflix's Outer Banks, where he played the iconic role of Captain Terrance.
DC/Warner Brothers has recently announced that Rosemore will be taking on the role of Lex Luthor's henchman, Otis, in James Gunn's highly anticipated Superman film.
Behind the camera, Rosemore has worked on a wide range of projects, including Dr. Phil, The Fast and the Furious:Tokyo Drift, NFL Films, The Doctors, Pride, The Skeleton Key, and Monster's Ball. From 1999 to 2001, he served as the Casting Director for Cash Money Records, casting the feature film Baller Blockin, as well as music videos for the Big Tymers, the Hot Boys, Lil Wayne, and Juvenile.
In 2020, Rosemore directed and produced the feature film Different Worlds, a joint U.S. and Nigerian production. His company, Out of Nowhere Productions, has also produced content for Fox Television, ABC, NBC/Universal's DotComedy.com, and Columbia/Sony's Crackle.com.
In addition to his directing and producing credits, Rosemore hosts and produces the popular podcasts Actor to Actor and The Scenic Route. His ultimate goal is to "Significantly increase minority and female participation in all aspects of the Arts and Entertainment industries."
