Thanyia is a multifaceted performer hailing from South East London, with a repertoire that encompasses acting, comedy, writing, presenting, and voice-over artistry.
In 2018, she earned the prestigious Funny Women Champion title, joining an elite group of talented women including Katherine Ryan, Andi Osho, Sarah Millican, and Desiree Burch. This achievement was marked by beating over 400 contestants.
Throughout her career, Thanyia has performed extensively across the UK and internationally, with notable appearances in the USA, Turkey, Sweden, Holland, Spain, and Slovenia. She has had the opportunity to share the stage with some of the most renowned comedians in the industry, including Katherine Ryan, Dane Baptiste, Desiree Burch, Ellie Taylor, Zoe Lyones, Paul Chowdhry, Stephen K Amos, and Sarah Millican. She has also supported several comedians on their tours.
As the founder and host of her own night, "Moore Laughter," housed at the Soho Theatre, Thanyia has established herself as a prominent figure in the comedy scene. Her regular appearances at Glee Clubs, Comedy Store, The Boat Show, and other esteemed venues have further solidified her reputation.
