Thomas Lennon is a multifaceted creative force, hailing from Oak Park, Illinois, and boasting a rich educational background from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. It was during his time at NYU that he became an integral part of the influential sketch comedy group The State, which went on to have a successful three-season run on MTV, earning an Ace Award nomination for Best Comedy Series.
Following his stint with The State, Lennon collaborated with his writing partner, Robert Ben Garant, to develop two more groundbreaking series: Viva Variety, which also ran for three seasons and received an Ace Award nomination for Best Comedy Series, and Reno 911!, in which he also portrayed the lovable and quirky Lieutenant Jim Dangle.
