Thomas Morris, a talented Austrian-born actor, made his mark in the entertainment industry with his debut lead role in the 1989 film "Meatgrinder" while still studying acting at the prestigious Franz Schubert-Conservatory in Vienna, Austria.
In his early professional years, Morris focused primarily on theater, taking on numerous roles, but his true passion remained movie acting. His breakthrough in the United States came in 1992 with a part in Jon Jost's low-budget film "The Bed You Sleep In", just two years after completing acting school.
Morris's big break in Hollywood arrived in 1993 when he was cast by the renowned director Steven Spielberg as "Grun" in the critically acclaimed "Schindler's List", shot on location in Cracow, Poland. This marked his first role in a major Hollywood production.
Since then, Morris has appeared in over a hundred diverse roles in films and television productions, both in German and English. His impressive repertoire includes a supporting role in the successful German TV comedy "Das beste Stück" (2002) and the lead in the horror movie "Sky Sharks" (2020),in which he portrays the enigmatic character Dr. Klaus Richter at the ages of 30, 50, and 115.
In addition to his work in front of the camera, Morris has also narrated numerous audiobooks and radio plays, written several books and scripts, and even directed and shot a documentary on the German artist Arndt von Diepenbroick.
