Klinck's creative pursuits extended far beyond his initial ventures. He embarked on a collaborative endeavour with John Palmer and Jaie Laplante, co-authoring the screenplay for the 2004 film Sugar. This cinematic endeavour garnered a prestigious nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay at the 25th Genie Awards, a testament to the trio's skill and dedication.
Furthermore, Klinck's writing talents were showcased in a column for fab, which he contributed to until 2005. His thoughts and opinions were also published in an online-only column, "Sex Play", for Xtra! in 2009.
