Tom's formative years in the art of acting were shaped by his rigorous study of the Stanislavsky Method under the guidance of his father, the esteemed Jovan Popovic, at the prestigious King's Opera House in Belgrade, Yugoslavia.
Born in the vibrant city of Belgrade, Tom's life took a significant turn at the tender age of fifteen when he made the bold decision to relocate to the United States, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his life.
Throughout his educational journey, Tom had the opportunity to attend schools in multiple locations, including Belgrade, Yugoslavia, Salzburg, Austria, Chicago, and Los Angeles, each experience undoubtedly enriching his personal and academic growth.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Tom also served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Army and seeing active duty in Korea, an experience that no doubt instilled in him a strong sense of discipline and resilience.
When not pursuing his passions, Tom can often be found indulging in a variety of recreational activities, including snow skiing, soccer, ping pong, tennis, swimming, and track and field, a testament to his love of competition and his desire to stay physically fit.
