Tom White's life journey began in Andrews, Texas, where he was born, before his family relocated to Swanton, Ohio, a small town nestled outside the city of Toledo. His early years were marked by a strong athletic and musical presence, as he was a varsity athlete and marching band member at St. John's Jesuit High School, where he developed a passion for performing.
This passion led him to pursue higher education, and he was awarded an acting scholarship to Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Theater Arts. After completing his undergraduate studies, Tom spent time honing his craft by acting in local theater productions in Cleveland while holding down odd jobs to make ends meet.
Eventually, he decided to return to his alma mater to further his education, and in 2010, he received his Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting from the esteemed Case Western Reserve University/Cleveland Playhouse MFA Actor Training Program.
With his formal education complete, Tom made the bold move to relocate to New York City, where he quickly found work in various aspects of the entertainment industry, including television, film, Off-Broadway productions, and regional theater performances across the country. He was also one of the original artists involved in creating Hendricks Gin's "Voyage to the Unusual" happening, a unique and immersive experience that toured several major cities in the United States.
As a comedian, Tom found a sense of belonging at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, New York's premier improv comedy institution, where he developed his comedic voice by performing weekly in one of their flagship shows, 'Harold Night'.
Today, Tom resides in Queens, New York, with his wife and daughter, having built a life filled with creativity, passion, and a strong sense of community.
