Tony anchored the weather for NewsChannel 7's DayBreak and Noon programs, as well as provided weather cut-ins for CBS This Morning. His tenure at NewsChannel 7 spanned from September 1992 until he departed to pursue other interests. Prior to joining NewsChannel 7, Tony had a long-standing career in meteorology, beginning in 1978 at KENS-TV in San Antonio, Texas.
Throughout his illustrious career, Tony has been a member of the National Weather Association and an original member of the upstate chapter of the American Meteorological Society. In addition to his work as a meteorologist, Tony has had a diverse career as an actor, talk show host, and feature reporter. His notable acting credits include playing a series regular on the soap opera Capitol.
Tony has also ventured into television hosting, co-hosting a talk show in New Zealand and making various TV appearances. When not working, Tony enjoys playing the guitar and singing throughout the region, having released his debut CD of original music. He is also an accomplished boxer, martial artist, and writer.
Tony is married to his wife, Tracey from New Zealand, and they have a daughter, Alexia, born in 1992.
