Person Biography:
Davis is a full-time actor with a diverse range of experience in film, television, theater, commercials, stand-up comedy, hosting, and voice-overs. He is represented by the William Morris Agency in Los Angeles.
Born in Oklahoma City, Davis initially pursued a career in corporate video production to support himself while attending the Meadows School of the Arts cinema production program at Southern Methodist University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Cum Laude.
After college, Davis rekindled his passion for performing and began touring as a stand-up comedian for three years. He then moved to Los Angeles and joined the ACME Comedy Theater, where he spent two years as a main company member.
Davis later joined The Groundlings, a renowned improv and sketch comedy school, and graduated from their four-level program. He has since accumulated numerous film and television credits, including appearances on ABC's Desperate Housewives, Norm, and Politically Incorrect With Bill Maher, as well as roles in feature films such as Sony Picture's Slackers and Disney Channel's The Jersey.
In addition to his acting work, Davis has also appeared in numerous national commercials for companies such as Toyota, Budweiser, Circuit City, Sears, and Quaker. He has also lent his voice to various companies, including Bank of America, Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, and Coors Light.
Davis was the on-camera host and star of TV Guide's Best of Late Night TV, a fast-paced mix of original comedy and highlights from the late night talk show and sketch comedy universe.
In his personal life, Davis is married with two young children and continues to live and work in Los Angeles. He credits his involvement in show business to his grandfather, Seymour Davis, a professional entertainer for 56 years.
