Texas-born and Arkansas-raised, Travis Owens has always demonstrated a natural aptitude for impersonations and performing. From an early age, he recognized the potential to make a living from his talents and set his sights on achieving his goals. This ambitious individual, with a plan in place, was destined for success.
Encouraged by an unconventional acting coach, Owens made the bold decision to forgo a university scholarship and move west to pursue his passions for acting and comedy. He devoted himself to stand-up comedy at night, while auditioning during the day.
Owens' unique blend of comical characters, witty observations, and true-life stories has earned him a reputation as a talented comedian, with performances in major comedy clubs across the United States. This success allowed him to focus on his acting career.
After gaining valuable on-set experience and securing national commercial roles, Owens landed parts in Friday Night Lights on NBC and Sordid Lives-The Series. He subsequently relocated to Los Angeles, where he has continued to build his acting resume.
In addition to his acting work, Owens has written, produced, and starred in several of his own projects, including Cecil and Roland, Actor/Waiter. He has also appeared in films and TV shows such as My Haunted House, OMG: EMT, Audacity, and It's Not That Simple.
Travis Owens remains committed to honing his acting skills, working with some of Hollywood's finest, and still makes time to perform stand-up comedy in top comedy clubs in and around Los Angeles.
