Trevor Mack, a celebrated filmmaker of Tsilhqot'in descent, originates from the vast and majestic interior of British Columbia, Canada, where the rugged landscape and rich cultural heritage have profoundly shaped his artistic vision.

As a child, Trevor was nurtured by his mother and family on the tranquil Tl'etinqox reserve, an environment that fostered a deep connection to his ancestral roots and the stories that have been passed down through generations.

This upbringing, steeped in tradition and community, has imbued Trevor with a profound appreciation for the art of storytelling, a skill that has been honed and refined through his years of experience in the film industry.

As a result, Trevor's film work is characterized by a unique blend of cultural sensitivity, authenticity, and artistic flair, which has earned him a reputation as a masterful storyteller and a prominent figure in the world of filmmaking.

Mack's illustrious career in the film industry commenced at the precocious age of 17, when he co-founded a freelance video editing and motion graphics collective, aptly titled 'Viral Design', a pioneering venture that would soon garner widespread recognition and acclaim.

At the dawn of 2013, a pivotal moment in the trajectory of a remarkable individual's career unfolded, as Mack, then a mere 21 years of age, proudly showcased his inaugural short film, The Blanketing, to a global audience. This groundbreaking cinematic endeavour was met with widespread acclaim, as it traversed the vast expanse of North America, leaving an indelible mark on esteemed festivals, including the prestigious Vancouver Indigenous Media Arts Festival, the illustrious Toronto Independent Film Festival, and the highly respected imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival, situated in the distant shores of New Zealand.

Mack's subsequent short film, Clouds of Autumn, made its highly anticipated debut at the renowned Toronto International Film Festival in the year 2015, alongside a distinguished array of other notable films. This significant cinematic achievement was followed by a plethora of accolades, including the prestigious 'Best Canadian Short Drama' award at the imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival, a prominent celebration of Indigenous culture and talent. Furthermore, Clouds of Autumn received the coveted 'Best Cinematography' award at the 2016 Air Canada enRoute Film Festival, a renowned festival that showcases the best of Canadian and international cinema.

Mack, a renowned director, was specifically selected to helm seven episodes of the highly acclaimed APTN series, "The Other Side", during the spring of 2016.

As part of an ongoing creative endeavor, Mack is presently engaged in a collaborative scripting process with renowned writer Kathleen Hepburn, working together to develop the feature film 'Out of the Barren'.
