Tricia Collins, a multifaceted actress and filmmaker, hails from Vancouver, Canada, where she was born and raised alongside her one sibling.
Born to a diverse family, her father, a native of Galway, Ireland, worked as a taxi driver, while her mother, of Chinese descent and born in Guyana, South America, was a dedicated nurse.
At the tender age of 15, Tricia discovered her passion for Shakespeare, a spark that ignited a lifelong love affair with the art form. She went on to study both mathematics and theatre at Simon Fraser University, where she refined her craft.
Subsequently, Tricia traveled to New York to hone her skills under the guidance of renowned acting coaches Larry Moss and Patsy Rodenburg.
Throughout her illustrious career, Tricia has had the privilege of touring internationally with numerous theatre productions, earning high acclaim for her work as a playwright and filmmaker.
One of her most notable achievements was the nomination of her film Clinch for Best Cinematography at the prestigious Richard Harris International Film Festival. Additionally, she took home the award for Best Actress at the Vancouver International Women in Film Festival.
