Troy McCall, a creative force to be reckoned with, was born in 1979 in the charming city of St. Cloud, Minnesota. As a young artist, he honed his skills through various mediums, including painting, drawing, and photography. His passion for storytelling and visual artistry began to take shape at the tender age of 13, when he stumbled upon a family member's camcorder and started crafting short films, often wearing multiple hats as writer, director, and star.
After completing his high school education, McCall pursued a degree in architecture, but the allure of the film industry eventually won him over. A pivotal moment came when he attended the 2001 Hollywood Film Festival, where he was inspired to follow his lifelong dream of becoming a filmmaker. It was during this festival that he crossed paths with Tom Tangen, an independent actor and producer, who extended an invitation to McCall to join him at the Sundance Film Festival to assist with press work for Elusive Entertainment.
Fast-forward to 2008, McCall earned his Bachelor's Degree in Filmmaking from the prestigious Minneapolis College of Art and Design, marking a significant milestone in his journey towards becoming a skilled filmmaker.
