Ty Hodges is a multi-talented individual, boasting a diverse array of skills as an actor, writer, director, and musician. His ancestry is a rich blend of Barbadian and Trinidadian heritage, and he was born in Washington, D.C., before relocating to Miami, Florida, where he spent his formative years.
Hodges' career trajectory took off with his starring role in Janet Jackson's music video "GO DEEP", followed by a recurring role on The Disney Channel, where he gained recognition for his performances in the Emmy-nominated series "EVEN STEVENS", alongside Shia LaBeouf, and the Disney Channel Original Movie "DON'T LOOK UNDER THE BED".
Throughout his career, Hodges has appeared in a wide range of projects, including "THE YOUNG LITTLE RICHARD STORY", where he portrayed the iconic musician Little Richard, and "DAVID AND LISA", alongside esteemed actors Sidney Poitier, Brittany Murphy, and Lucas Haas.
