Tyler Wolfgang Moore was born on May 14th, 1994, in the charming town of Winfield, Kansas. From a young age, he was captivated by the art of storytelling and embarked on a quest to find innovative ways to convey his creative vision. This passion for storytelling led him to explore various mediums, starting with comic books and eventually progressing to his ultimate goal of creating animated films.
As he honed his skills, Tyler dedicated countless hours to teaching himself the art of animation, using limited resources to craft short videos. He also expanded his repertoire to include live-action films, ultimately producing four short films and a plethora of online comedy videos.
Tyler's journey took a significant turn when he rediscovered his love for animation while creating the mini-series Brimstone Terrace for Blip TV. The show, which ran for six episodes over the course of two years, marked the first collaborative effort between the early members of Illumination Cinema, ultimately paving the way for the group's formation.
Following the completion of Brimstone Terrace, Tyler set his sights on achieving another milestone: making a feature film. In 2015, he began production on the live-action project Living After Midnight, which was released in 2016 after a year's work with a small crew and an extremely low budget.
Over the next three years, Tyler worked as a writer and producer on various projects with his collaborators at Illumination Cinema, simultaneously working on his second feature, Left Hook, an animated crime thriller released in 2020.
As of now, Tyler is actively developing several new projects while continuing to collaborate on various other projects with Illumination Cinema.
