Ulf Pilblad, also professionally recognized as Jean Loup, is a remarkably versatile and accomplished individual who has made a profound and lasting impression on the film industry. Born in the vibrant city of Stockholm, Sweden, this multifaceted personality has spent a considerable amount of time honing his craft, initially undertaking an extensive eight-year educational journey in theatre schools located in Stockholm.
He studied under the guidance of various esteemed teachers, meticulously refining his skills and developing a deep understanding of the performing arts.
Ulf's formative years were marked by a unique opportunity to collaborate with Hasse Funck, a celebrated operetta-singer and dancer, who in 1965 embarked upon a pioneering endeavour, Minifunckarna, with the ambitious goal of imparting the art of acting to children. Within this dynamic environment, Ulf played a vital role, serving as a trusted assistant to Hasse Funck, and subsequently, his experiences and skills were shaped by this influential mentorship.
In the year 1996, Ulf made a significant move by relocating to the vibrant city of Bangkok, a metropolitan hub that would serve as the perfect backdrop for the next chapter of his professional journey.
It was during this time that he decided to take the entrepreneurial route, establishing his own company, PCE Travel Consultants, a Destination Management Company that would allow him to utilize his skills and expertise to provide top-notch travel solutions to clients.
In addition to his work as a company founder and CEO, Ulf also dabbled in the world of television production, taking on the role of Production and Location Manager for several Scandinavian TV productions. This experience not only honed his skills in project management but also provided him with a deeper understanding of the intricacies of the television industry.
Ulf's fervent enthusiasm for the art of acting propelled him to engage in a series of workshops, where he had the privilege of learning from and being mentored by a trio of renowned professionals, including the accomplished Maurizio Mistretta, the skilled Fulvio Ianneo, and the esteemed John Marengo.
During this period, Ulf also had the opportunity to collaborate with the prestigious ALL SOUL Production Company, which boasts a presence in both Thailand and Italy. Through this partnership, he was able to participate in a diverse range of productions, including several plays that showcased his remarkable talent.
One of the most notable productions in which Ulf appeared was "True Story," a poignant and powerful play that drew heavily from his own personal experiences. This production, which was inspired by the devastating 2004 Tsunami, allowed Ulf to bring his unique perspective and emotional depth to the stage, further solidifying his reputation as a talented and versatile actor.
The theatrical production in question first made its debut appearance at the esteemed Art and Culture Festival "Dramophone" held in the picturesque city of Bologna, Italy, during the sweltering summer months of June and July in the year 2012.
Ulf's impressive repertoire of acting credits also includes a notable role in the cinematic masterpiece "The Impossible" (2012),masterfully directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Juan Antonio Bayona.
In the year 2013, a significant milestone was reached in the artistic career of Ulf, as he took part in the Bababoboa project Festival "Paura-fear-klua" held at the prestigious TADU Art and Exhibition Center in Bangkok, Thailand.
Around the same time, Ulf embarked on an ambitious project, producing a film titled "Fufu - 99 Minutes of Life" in the vibrant country of Thailand. Not only did he take on the role of producer, but he also played a main character in the film, bringing to life the character of Roland, a complex and intriguing individual.
Ulf's cinematic endeavors began in 2014 with the production of "Fatima's Secret", a film set in Thailand, where he took on the captivating role of Gogo.
In tandem with his creative pursuits, Ulf co-founded All Soul Production Co., Ltd. (Thailand) and All Soul Production (France),a production company he shares ownership with Maurizio Mistretta and Patchanee Poonthong.
Beyond his work in the film industry, Ulf is also the proud owner and President of two esteemed travel agencies: AFS Chic Paris (France) and PCE Travel Consultants (Thailand).
