Veenu Sandhu, a talented actress, grew up in the small town of Dawson Creek, located in northern British Columbia. She has since settled in Vancouver, where she has established a successful career in the entertainment industry.
Veenu's passion for acting began in grade four when her teacher directed the class in "Macbeth for Kids". Instead of experiencing stage fright, Veenu was thrilled to play the role of the First Witch and went to great lengths to prepare, practicing her evil cackle and creating the props for the witches' brew out of papier mâché.
Throughout her school years, Veenu continued to pursue her interest in theatre, choosing drama as her minor while studying Psychology at the University of Alberta. However, she made the bold decision to commit to the arts when she enrolled at Vancouver Film School in 2006.
Since then, Veenu has had a successful career in theatre and television. Her credits include the female version of "The Odd Couple", "Eurydice", and "The Vagina Monologues". She has also appeared in several commercials and television shows, including "Arrow", "Somewhere Between", "The Whispers", and "Lost In Space".
Outside of her acting career, Veenu enjoys teaching group fitness classes, practicing Moksha hot yoga, and cooking. She is also an avid fan of film and television, and loves to catch up on her favorite shows with her best friend and husband, Devin Downton.
