Verity East, an Australian-born actress, currently divides her time between London and Melbourne. She has had the privilege of graduating from some of Australia's top acting schools, including the Victorian College of the Arts and the 16th Street Acting Studio. Following her studies, Verity received an invitation to hone her craft at the renowned Terry Schreiber Studio in New York, where she had the opportunity to take on the role of 'Claire' in the play "Proof" by David Auburn.
After returning to Australia, Verity landed a part in the popular TV series "Underbelly Squizzy," portraying the character of Mrs. Diana Oswald. Her upcoming role in the Australian comedy TV series "Addicted" sees her take on the lead as a sassy, sexy, and brassy bombshell who is struggling to get her life together.
Verity's most challenging and rewarding role to date is the 2019 feature film "FAIRYTALE," where she takes the lead in an intense and raw drama that tackles explicit issues of sexual assault. This unscripted and totally improvised film was shot in chronological order over the course of eight days in New York. Verity's outstanding performance in "FAIRYTALE" earned her the Best Actress Award at the Beverly Hills Film Festival.
