Veronica Cartwright was born in Bristol, England, and is the older sister of the renowned child actress Angela Cartwright. In the early stages of her career, Veronica landed roles in several prominent films, including William Wyler's The Children's Hour (1961),Spencer's Mountain (1963),and Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963).
