Biography

Veronica Sixtos was born and raised in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area, where she spent her formative years developing a strong sense of self and a passion for the performing arts. As a young adult, she made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, California, driven by her unwavering dedication to pursuing a career in acting.

Veronica's journey in the entertainment industry began with a series of commercials and television promos, which ultimately led to her booking a small but significant role in the award-winning film Quincenera in 2006. This early success sparked a chain reaction of opportunities, as she went on to secure guest star roles in several popular television series, including Strong Medicine, Zoey 101, and Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide.

In 2008, Veronica landed the lead role in the short film Father Time, further solidifying her status as a talented up-and-coming actress. She continued to build her resume with recurring roles on Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place and TBS' Tyler Perry's House of Payne, showcasing her impressive range and versatility as a performer.

Veronica's breakthrough role came in 2010, when she starred in the feature film The Prankster as the charming and captivating love interest, Mariah Rivera. Her subsequent music video release, Stars, revealed a previously unknown talent for singing and songwriting, cementing her status as a multi-faceted artist.

In 2012, Veronica lent her voice to the theme song of the film Secret Asian Man: Rise of the Zodiac, further expanding her creative horizons. She went on to play the role of Azalea in the award-winning post-apocalyptic thriller The Last Survivors, and more recently, she brought to life the complex and thought-provoking character of a young woman caught between two cultures in the feature film Hostile Border.

This critically acclaimed film, which won the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature and the Grand Jury Prize for Best Direction at the LA Film Festival in 2015, serves as a testament to Veronica's remarkable talent and dedication to her craft.
