Noted stage performer Griffin had a distinguished career on Broadway, taking on a variety of roles in numerous productions. One of his earliest notable appearances was in the 1971 original Broadway production of the iconic musical "Follies", where he portrayed the character of Vincent.
In 1978, Griffin shone in the production of "Ballroom", bringing to life the memorable role of Harry the Noodle. His impressive Broadway resume also includes appearances in the 1941 musical "High Kickers", the 1942 revue "Count Me In", and the 1943 spectacular "Ziegfeld Follies of 1943".
Additionally, Griffin lent his talents to the 1983 production of "Amadeus", further solidifying his reputation as a versatile and accomplished performer. Beyond his work on stage, Griffin also served as assistant choreographer on the 1958 production of "Oh Captain!", showcasing his skills behind the scenes as well as in the spotlight.
