Person Biography:
Born in Staten Island, New York, this individual's life took a dramatic turn when they were raised in Upstate New York, where they developed strong opinions about where the region begins. At the tender age of 14, they discovered a unique way to overcome crippling stage fright - acting. This marked the beginning of a lifelong passion for the craft, which they pursued throughout high school, participating in stage plays and developing an interest in sketch comedy and film acting.
As they honed their skills, they began writing scripts, although they now acknowledge that they were, in hindsight, not exactly masterpieces. Nonetheless, they were proud of their work and the sense of accomplishment that came with it. It was during this period that they met like-minded individuals, including Chris Ireland and Sam Rebelein, with whom they co-founded Crebuland Productions.
Upon graduating from high school, they enrolled in SUNY New Paltz to study Theater with a minor in Film Production. While they did okay, they continued to write scripts that, although not exceptional, helped them refine their craft. They went on to play a variety of older men in various stage plays, gradually realizing that their true passion lay in film acting.
After completing their college education, they made the bold decision to move to Los Angeles, where they immersed themselves in the world of film. They continued to hone their skills, participating in sketch comedy and extra work on bigger and bigger projects. Their hard work paid off when they won the 48 Hour Film Project NY in 2015, a feat they repeated in 2017 with the 48 Hour Film Project New Haven, which also won at Filmapalooza.
Throughout their journey, they have popped up in the backgrounds of numerous local films, gradually building a reputation for themselves. Their big break came when they were cast in a speaking role in a SAG motion picture (Shoplifters of the World) and as a supporting lead in an independent film (Slate Yourself). As their career continued to blossom, Crebuland Productions evolved into Upstaters Productions.
In a bold move, they returned to LA to audition for a stage musical called Viral, written and directed by, and starring Marcus Johns. This experience led them to invest in an IMDB Pro subscription, a valuable tool for any serious actor. Finally, they penned an elaborate bio, a testament to their dedication to their craft and their unwavering passion for storytelling.
