Virginia Susanne Gumm, born Dorothy Virginia Gumm in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, was a multifaceted and gifted performer, actress, and entertainer, renowned for her captivating on-screen presence in a variety of films, including La Fiesta de Santa Barbara in 1935, The Wedding of Jack and Jill in 1930, and The Harvey Girls in 1946.
As a member of the Gumm Sisters, Virginia shared the spotlight with her sisters, "Baby" Frances Gumm, better known as the legendary Judy Garland, and Mary Jane Gumm, with whom she harmonized in perfect sibling synchrony.
