Vishnu Vishal, a multifaceted individual, is a renowned actor and producer in the Tamil film industry. Born in Vellore, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, he received his primary education in Tiruchirappalli and later pursued an MBA in Marketing.
Initially, Vishal had a brief stint in cricket, participating in the TNCA league games, but unfortunately, a leg injury forced him to stop playing the sport. This setback led him to explore alternative avenues, ultimately leading him to the world of acting.
In 2009, Vishal made his acting debut in the sports movie Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, which earned him the prestigious Edison Award for Best Debut Actor and a nomination for the Vijaya Award for Best Debut Actor.
Vishal's subsequent films showcased his versatility as an actor, with notable performances in Neerparavai (2012),Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran (2016),Raatchasan (2018),and many more.
One of his most acclaimed roles was in the movie Neerparavai, where he played a fisherman, earning him a nomination for the SIIMA Award for Best Actor.

Vishal was married to Rajini Natraj, daughter of actor K. Nataraj, for eight years before they parted ways in 2018. They have a son, Aryan, and he later remarried the renowned badminton icon Jwala Gutta.
