Vonn Harris, a talented individual, was raised in Baltimore, Maryland by his mother. After graduating from Milford Mill High School, he took a unique path, joining the US Army and serving four years. Upon receiving an honorable discharge, he utilized his acquired electrical skills, working as an electrician. However, feeling unfulfilled in his profession, he pursued higher education, majoring in Business Law at Catonsville Community College.
To alleviate boredom, he enrolled in a theater class, where he discovered a natural talent and a deep passion for acting. This epiphany led him to switch his major to Theater, ultimately earning his Associates of Arts degree from Catonsville Community College in 2007. He received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Tom Lewis in the play "The Catonsville Nine."
In 2009, Vonn auditioned for the play "Tears in my Eye," landing a lead role as Shawn Wyatt's. This production, performed at the prestigious Lyric Opera House, received outstanding reviews. Later that year, he received a substantial financial boost from family and friends, enabling him to relocate to New York City to pursue his acting dreams. Before departing Baltimore, he secured the lead role as Kingston James in the independent film "Razorblade City," which achieved worldwide success, selling over 500,000 copies.
In 2010, Vonn refined his craft at the renowned Susan Batson Acting Studio. His subsequent roles include landing a supporting role in "America's Most Wanted" and the lead role as Mark Curry in "Celebrity Ghost Stories." He also appeared in the film "All in the Game," which earned second place in the DC Film Festival.
Throughout his career, Vonn has continued to secure supporting roles in various films and TV shows, including "Tower Heist," "Monica Z," "Jersey Boys," "School Spirits," "HBO Girls," "The Zoo," and "Major Crimes," among many others. He has also finished writing two feature film scripts.
In 2013, Vonn's outstanding performance as SFC Morgan in "Warrior Adventure Quest" earned him two Aurora Gold Awards, an international recognition of excellence in the film and video industries.
