Wayne T. Carr's academic background is marked by a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree earned from Pennsylvania State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Frostburg State University, both of which served as a strong foundation for his subsequent career in the Performing Arts.
Throughout his career, Carr's work has been heavily involved with theatre, with performances in numerous stage companies across the United States. Some of the notable companies he has worked with include the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF),where he spent three seasons, The Pearl Theatre Company, the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, the Goodman Theatre, the Indiana Repertory Theatre, the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, the Milwaukee Shakespeare Theatre, the Nebraska Shakespeare Theatre, the Renaissance Theatreworks, and the American Players Theatre.
In addition to his extensive work in theatre, Carr has also had a successful screen career, beginning with a role in the World War II film short Who's Afraid of the Big Black Wolf? in 2012. Six years later, he made his television debut in the third season of Stuck in the Middle in 2016. In 2018, he also appeared in the pilot to Stupid Cupid.
