Will Hare, a renowned character actor, embarked on a prolific career spanning over six decades, commencing at the tender age of 17 and culminating with his passing at the ripe age of 80.
Throughout his illustrious journey, Hare established himself as a stalwart of the stage, boasting an impressive half-century of experience. His cinematic debut was Alfred Hitchcock's 1956 masterpiece, "The Wrong Man", marking the beginning of a long and distinguished film career.
Hare's notable film credits include the 1977 thriller "Black Oak Conspiracy", the 1979 Western drama "The Electric Horseman" alongside Robert Redford, the 1983 horror film "Eyes of Fire", the 1985 biographical drama "The Aviator" featuring Christopher Reeve, and Steven Spielberg's iconic 1985 time-travel adventure "Back to the Future".
