Xavier Georges, a talented Canadian production designer, hails from Montreal, Quebec, where he pursued a degree in Arts & Communications at Concordia University. Since 1989, he has dedicated a significant portion of his career to the captivating world of performing arts, showcasing his expertise in theatre, television, corporate events, music videos, commercials, shorts, and feature films.
From 1994 to 1999, Georges took on the role of owner and artistic director at Lox Design, a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit. In 2006, he made the bold decision to relocate from Quebec to Newfoundland and Labrador, where he founded the Cultural Network of the Fédération des francophone de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador (FFTNL).
Georges' creative endeavors continued to flourish, as he founded Rafale FM, a French radio station, in 2008. The following year, he produced and directed the documentary Frolic : Une balade de ports en ports, further solidifying his reputation as a skilled filmmaker.
In 2014, Georges took the initiative to establish Sibelle Productions!, the first French production company in the province, a milestone in his illustrious career. Additionally, he created and produced the documentary series Hors Circuits, which premiered on UNIS TV in Canada before airing internationally on TV5 Monde.
