Yves Heck is a French actor who was born and raised in Namur, Belgium, where he began his journey in the world of drama at the tender age of 14 by enrolling in a drama school. This marked the beginning of his professional career, which would eventually take him to the prestigious Niels Arestrup's drama school, "Théâtre-École du passage", in Paris at the age of 19.
With a strong foundation in both theatre and contemporary dance, Yves went on to make a name for himself in the international arena, particularly after his captivating portrayal of Cole Porter in Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris (2011),a film that showcased his exceptional acting skills.
Since then, Yves has been involved in a multitude of notable projects, including the critically acclaimed Things to Come (2016),which starred the renowned Isabelle Huppert and earned director Mia Hansen-Løve the Berlin Silver Bear for Best Director, as well as the winner of 44 international awards, Robin Campillo's 120 BPM (2017),The White Crow (2018),directed by Ralph Fiennes, and La Syndicaliste (2022),directed by Jean-Paul Salomé and also starring Isabelle Huppert.
In 2024, Yves is set to appear in three major Apple TV+ series, Masters of the Air (2024),directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, The New Look (2024),directed by Jeremy Podeswa, and Franklin (2024),which stars the legendary Michael Douglas and is directed by Timothy Van Patten.
