Zack Bennett's life has been a fascinating journey of passion and dedication to the world of performing arts. Born and raised in the small, rural mining town of Grass Valley, California, he began his journey on stage at the tender age of 8, when his 3rd-grade teacher recognized his high energy and incredibly loud voice as a perfect fit for the stage.
As he grew older, Bennett's love for performing only intensified, and he spent most of his free time on stage or making videos with his old Digital 8 camcorder. By the time he was a freshman in high school, he had already taught himself how to edit on an early Final Cut system, and it was clear that he was destined to make movies.
At the age of 16, Bennett took the bold step of graduating from high school early and moving to Los Angeles for his first pilot season. Within three months, he had booked his first professional acting job, a commercial directed by industry titan John Seale.
This marked the beginning of a successful career spanning over a decade, during which Bennett has acted in dozens of feature films, short films, commercials, and television shows. He has worked with a wide range of talent, including Faye Dunaway, Ed Asner, Rob Cohen, and many more.
Bennett has also had the privilege of studying with world-renowned acting coaches D.W. Brown and Elaine Williams at the Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown studio, which has produced names such as Halle Berry, Robin Wright, Jeff Goldblum, and Patrick Dempsey.
However, Bennett's passion for the arts didn't stop at acting. He and his lifelong friend Kevin Schlanser decided to produce and direct their first feature-length documentary, "The Ataxian", which marked the beginning of his journey behind the camera.
As he delved deeper into the world of production, Bennett found himself enthralled by the technical aspects of making films and developed an impressive framework and a deeper love for the art form. His work and relationships have spanned world-famous artists, including Hall of Fame musician Jason Newsted, world-class dancers, and many other talented actors, musicians, and artists.
