Educationally, Dr. Mirkovic holds a prestigious academic background, having graduated from the esteemed Belgrade Academy of Arts. He further honed his skills by pursuing a master's degree at the renowned Bournemouth University Media School in the UK.
Dr. Mirkovic's academic pursuits did not stop there, as he went on to complete his PhD thesis, titled "Documentary Film Through the History of War and Peace," at the Belgrade Megatrend University.
