Ziad Doueiri, a multifaceted creative force, was born in 1963 and hails from Lebanon.
As a young adult, he fled his homeland during the tumultuous Lebanese civil war, departing at the tender age of 18 to pursue higher education in the United States.
Today, Doueiri calls France his home, while maintaining a professional presence in both Europe and the United States.
Prior to carving out his own path as a filmmaker, Doueiri gained recognition for his behind-the-scenes expertise as a camera assistant under the tutelage of the acclaimed director Quentin Tarantino.
His notable credits during this period include working on the films Jackie Brown, From Dusk Till Dawn, Pulp Fiction, and Reservoir Dogs.
As his career progressed, Doueiri split his time between Los Angeles and Beirut, until a pivotal moment in 2011, following which he made the decision to relocate back to Beirut and resume his work from there.
