Biography

Zoltán Latinovics, a talented Hungarian thespian, made his grand entrance into the world at precisely 12:30 pm within the cozy confines of his grandfather's esteemed restaurant, a family establishment of great renown in Pest, where his mother, Katalin Gundel, resided. As a matter of fact, Katalin's father, the illustrious proprietor of the restaurant, was a pillar of the community, his name synonymous with fine dining and warm hospitality. Meanwhile, Zoltán's father, Oszkár Latinovics, was a landowner of considerable means in South-Hungary, but alas, he made the difficult decision to leave his young family shortly after his son's birth, a circumstance that would no doubt have a profound impact on Zoltán's early life.

Zoltán's early life took a significant turn when he was just 10 years old, as his mother decided to remarry a doctor, a decision that would ultimately result in the arrival of two new brothers, István Bujtor and Károly Frenreisz, who would later become his stage name and a fellow artist, respectively.

As he navigated this new family dynamic, Zoltán's creative inclinations began to flourish, and he developed a profound passion for the arts. He spent countless hours indulging in the world of cinema, mesmerized by the magic of the big screen, and theatre, where he could lose himself in the intricate web of stories and characters. His artistic endeavors extended beyond the realm of performance, as he also discovered a love for painting, allowing him to express himself through a multitude of colors and textures.

In addition to his artistic pursuits, Zoltán was an avid reader, devouring books of all genres and collecting them with great enthusiasm. This voracious appetite for knowledge allowed him to become fluent in four languages: English, French, German, and Italian.

Latinovics' journey to stardom was preceded by a stint in the joinery trade, where he honed his skills and eventually earned a degree in architecture.

Latinovics' existence was a testament to the importance of upholding truth and sincerity, as these virtues were deeply ingrained in his being. One of the most notable aspects of his personal life was his romantic relationship with the illustrious Hungarian actress Éva Ruttkai, a union that garnered significant attention from the public eye.
