Twenty-five years after witnessing her mother's murder of her father at age six, Suzanne, a psychology professor, lives in fear of inheriting her mother's criminal tendencies. Her fear becomes a reality when a former patient, Connor, a dangerous psychopath, shoots and kills several people on campus, including some of Suzanne's students. Connor, who had been tracking Suzanne, reveals his twisted obsession with her.
