Mike, a former motorcycle club president, returns home from Vietnam a hero and finds his old gang in Bakersfield, California. However, he soon discovers that they are being targeted by corrupt cops under the watchful eye of Sheriff Bingham. In response, Mike uses his war experience to unite the gang and resist the police brutality, leading to an all-out war between the bikers and the law.
